Looking back-and ahead

Finishing a story on the top local sports stories of 2009 today, a story that is scheduled for the Friday, New Year’s Day edition.

But it is good to look ahead to 2010, many more interesting stories are sure to come along.

As a big fan of the Olympic Games, I am especially happy that the Winter Games come in late February.

Can’t wait for the curling competition!

Happy New Year’s everyone, and I have a feeling that 2010 will be an unforgettable year, in many ways.
